Minnie’s official website has posted the album cover ‘Seastories’ and a promotional photoshoot. Minnie looks stunning in them probably my favorite photoshoot of her.

Singer-turned-actress-turned singer Minnie Driver, who is currently enjoying major kudos on her new FX series The Riches, is readying a new album for early summer release via Zoe/Rounder Records.

The new album, which is entitled Sea Stories, is the follow-up to Driver’s 2004 effort Everything I’ve Got In My Pocket.

The twelve songs on Sea Stories were all written by Driver. The record was by Marc “Doc” Dauer, who is best known for his work with New Jersey musical hero Pete Yorn. It was mixed by Grammy winning Jim Scott, known for his work with the Dixie Chicks, Lucinda Williams, and Tom Petty).

While the thrust of Sea Stories revolves around Driver’s vocals and guitar work the album will also feature guest shots from Ryan Adams and his backing band The Cardinals, Liz Phair, keyboardist Rami Jaffe (The Wallflowers/Foo Fighters), and Zack Ray (Gnarls Barkley).
